(Bowling Green, KY) — Bowling Green Parks and Recreation wants to celebrate trees and educate residents about their overall importance. This will be a part of the park’s “Tree Week” from October 6th though the 15th. City park arborist Jared Weaver says “Tree Week” is important because it gets people out in nature. The city has several activities planned for residents including a tree planting class at the University of Kentucky extension office on Russellville Road.
