Ms. Sarah Jo Mercer, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023, in Ingham County, Michigan, having attained the age of 52 years and 3 days. She was born in Burkesville, Kentucky, on Tuesday, June 1, 1971, the daughter of David D. and Ina Mae (Hopkins) Mercer. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her children, Travis Dale ( & Susie), Zackary “Zack” Peyton Garmon, Hannah Avery (& John Dowdy), and Wyatt Whitley, brother, Eric Mercer, grandchildren, Nikko Dowdy and Odin Dowdy.
The Funeral Service will be conducted Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. CST, with Bro. Johnny Davis officiating. The family will receive friends in the chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 10:00 am CST until the funeral hour. Burial will be in Hickory Ridge Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to help defray final expenses.
