Mr. Willie Moreland, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, at The Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Kentucky, having attained the age of 88 years, 7 months, and 7 days. He was born in Clinton County, Kentucky, on Friday, September 7, 1934, the son of John and Bessie (Ballou) Moreland.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Arlee Ferguson, Mary Dean Moreland, Jessie Moreland, and Johnny Russell Moreland.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie Dean (Bowlin) Moreland; siblings Jean (& Melvin) Bowlin and Kathy (& Lanny) Stockton,; children Ronnie (& Angela) Bowlin, Gail (& Jeff) Fryman, , Connie (& Rick) Smith, Ed (& Cindy) Bowlin, and Betty (& Greg) Abston; and the late Larry Bowlin; grandchildren Melanie (& Jeremy) Wyatt, Ashley Bowlin, Jeremy (& Beth) Fryman, Brooke (& Luke) Henson, Jessica (& John) Wallen, and Summer (& Adam) Shelley; great-grandchildren Lincoln Wyatt, Lillie Wyatt, Jett Fryman, Jagger Fryman, Beckett Fryman, Lexie Henson, Drake Henson, Noah Wallen, and Luke Wallen, as well as many other relatives and friends. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Med Center Health family, as well as daily caregivers.

The Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, April 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. CSTwith Bro. Jim England and Bro. Larry Brown officiating, and a eulogy by David Warinner at Stony Point Baptist Church in Albany, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 16, 2023, after 4:00 p.m. CSTat Campbell-New Funeral Home and again on Monday morning beginning at 9:00 a.m.until the funeral hour at Stony Point Baptist Church in Albany, Kentucky. Burial will be in Memorial Hill Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
