GLASGOW — A Tennessee man has been arrested in Glasgow on several charges relating to a series of alleged vehicle thefts and break-ins.
Detectives with Glasgow Police started investigating Isaac D. Adkisson, 19, alongside the Christian County Sheriff’s Department. He used to live in Dickson, Tenn., and was allegedly involved in multiple crimes near Christian County, police said.
Detectives Andrew Moore and Aaron Cowan were able to recover evidence from Adkisson’s new residence in Glasgow, and he was linked to crimes that had not yet been reported in Clarksville, according to a news release. Upon contacting Clarksville Police Department Detectives and providing them with the evidence as well as photographs of Adkisson, he was then identified as being involved in other unsolved vehicle thefts and break-ins in the Clarksville area.
The man was arrested on Dec. 12 on an extraditable outstanding arrest warrant from Tennessee for the previous offenses. His bond was set at $75,000.
Adkisson faces charges on another indictment related to a criminal attempt to commit second-degree murder, criminal attempt to commit carjacking, criminal attempt to commit aggravated robbery, employ firearm intent to go armed – dangerous felony, and reckless endangerment – deadly weapon involved.
The Glasgow Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the Kentucky Probation and Parole.
