GLASGOW — A portion of North Jackson Highway will be closed Thursday while police reconstruct a fatal crash.
The closure is planned for Thursday near the 7000 block of Highway 31-E. A fatal crash occurred in the area around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Kentucky State Police are expected to close the roadway around 11:30 a.m. and will be on the scene for about one hour, according to a notice published by the Glasgow-Barren County Emergency Management. The reconstruction will include a daylight reconstruction and a drone flight over the area.
A detour onto Goodnight-Hiseville Road will be in place. Motorists are advised to stay away from the area.
