Corey Jay Thomas Smith age 55 of Munfordville passed away on October 27th at Baptist Health Hardin. He was born on January 3, 1971, in Louisville.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Western Kentucky University.
Corey was a person who valued the simple goodness of every day life.
He was saved at Cave Hill Baptist Church where he was also a member.
Corey is survived by his son Shade Foster(Heather); Mother Wanda Hatfield(Roger); Father Larry Smith(Vonda); grandchildren Noah Foster, Owen Foster & Cora Jae Foster; Brother Ethan Smith(Holly); Sister Emilie Walters
The funeral service for Corey Smith will be 2 pm Friday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Routt officiating. Burial will be in the Walters Family Farm Cemetery at Bonnieville. Visitation will be Thursday from 12-8 pm and after 8 am Friday at the Sego Funeral Home.
