Minnie Louise (Scott) Watson, 83, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Monday, September 7th, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Louise was born in Pea Ridge, TN on November 12, 1942, a daughter of the late Anna Olene (Smith) and Archie Lewis Scott.
She was a housewife, and enjoyed taking care of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and enjoyed cooking and cleaning. Louise was a Christian and cherished her faith throughout her life.
On May 2, 1964, she married Harold Watson in Jackson County, TN. Harold preceded her in death on September 23, 2013.
Louise is survived by three daughters, Lora Pruitt, Angela Mails (Johnathan Mails), and Amanda Lauderman (Tony); three sons Anthony “Boy” Watson (Lorretta Walker), Ray Watson (Evelyn), Tony Watson (Amanda), all of Tompkinsville, KY; 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
Other than her husband and parents, Louise is preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Goode; two grandchildren Tanna Lauderman and Barry Quinton Muse; sons-in-law, Roger Goode and Mickel Pruitt, and daughter-in-law, Angela Watson and all of her siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 12th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Watson Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday, 5-8 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 12 noon at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
