Annie Dee Phillips, 86, of Gamaliel, KY passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.
He was a 1960 graduate of Gamaliel High School who loved baseball, basketball and football and played in the first football team that the school had. He was a former employee of Haywood Manufacturing and Stitches. He was a son of the late David Benson Phillips and Clemmie Delila Shockley Phillips and husband of the late Alma Lee Russell Phillips.
He is survived by 1 son: David Lee Phillips, Scottsville, KY; 1 daughter: Darlene Phillips Scott, Gamaliel, KY; 2 brothers: Roy Phillips and wife, Sandy, Seattle, WA and Odell Phillips, Austin Tracy, KY; 5 grandchildren: Joseph Phillips (Brittany), Brandi Renee Harvey, Cory Scott (Amber), Christian Scott and Caden Scott; 5 great grandchildren: Gracie Scott, Conner Scott, Layne Harvey, Mason Harvey and Hunter Wade Mills.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Christian Scott and Bro. Jeremy Yokley officiating and burial in the Fountain Run Cemetery with Bro. Tim Eaton officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
