Elizabeth Ellen Curasi, 74, of Lucas, KY passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Shanti Niketan Hospice House in Glasgow, KY. She was born in Miami, FL to the late Richard Omar Croswell and Helen Ertelt Croswell. She was a retired elementary teacher in Simenole County, FL, a substitute teacher in the Allen County School System and member of Mt. Union Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband: Paul D. Curasi, Lucas, KY; 1 son: Scott Curasi (Allison), Lucas, KY; 1 grandson: Andrew Scott Curasi.
She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Curasi.
A celebration of life will be 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Mt. Union Methodist Church with Pastor Chay Smithson officiating. In honor of Liz’s zest for life, and if you wish to, you may wear bright colors in her honor. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Shanti Niketa Hospice House or Barren County Special Olympics. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
