Robert Ray Dimmett-Perkins, beloved 10-week-old infant son of Dalton Perkins and Angel Dimmett, passed away on September 1, 2026, at Norton Children’s Hospital. He was born on June 15, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky.
In his brief but precious life, Ray was deeply loved and held close by his family. His arrival brought joy to those who welcomed him, and his memory will remain tenderly cherished by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he also leaves behind his brother, Dalton Perkins, Jr. Ray will be lovingly remembered by his maternal grandmother, Angel Ragan (Robert Johnson), paternal grandparents Robert Perkins (Angela), and Laura Carner (Shane Young) and paternal great grandmother Judith Carner. He is also survived by a caring circle of aunts and uncles, including Haylei Perkins, Merceideze Ragan, Dakota Carner, Robbie Perkins, Hunter Perkins, Parker West, and Chance Perkins.
Though his time here was short, Robert Ray Dimmett-Perkins will always be a treasured son, brother, grandson, nephew, and loved one. His family will carry his memory in their hearts always.
Private graveside services will be held at the Randolph Cemetery.
