A Glasgow man was injured Sunday afternoon when the all-terrain vehicle he was driving collided with a Dodge truck.
Glasgow police officers responded to the intersection of Humble Avenue and East Main Street at about 4:40 p.m. Sunday on a two-vehicle collision.
“Preliminary investigation determined that a Suzuki ATV being operated by Dwayne Welborn from Glasgow Ky. pulled out into the path of a 2008 Dodge Truck operated by Hunter Rich who was traveling westbound on East Main Street,” a police department press release stated.
Welborn was transported by the Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Services to T.J. Samson Community Hospital, and then flown to the University of Louisville Hospital for his injuries, the release stated. No other injuries were reported.
The collision was investigated by Officer Jared Herzog, assisted by the Barren-Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department.
