Land Use Committee meeting cancelled; rescheduled for Sept. 17

The Joint City-County Planning Commission has posted on social media that the Barren County Land Use Committee meeting scheduled for later this week has been cancelled. Also, because the Land Use Committee meeting is rescheduled, the planning commission rescheduled the public hearing from Sept. 21 to Oct. 19.

“Due to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s decision to re-pave the Glasgow square and requiring ALL vehicles to be removed by 6 P.M., the Barren County Land Use Committee meeting on Thursday, September 3rd, is CANCELLED and will be re-scheduled to September 17th, at 6:00 P.M. (CST)/ 7:00 P.M. (EST) in Luska J. Twyman Municipal Building (126 E. Public Sq., City Hall, 2nd floor) Glasgow, Kentucky.”

“The public hearing of the proposed Barren County Land Use Ordinance scheduled for September 21st, 2026, for final decision by the Joint City-County Planning Commission is re-scheduled for October 19th, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. (CST) / 8:00 P.M. (EST) in the Luska J. Twyman Municipal Building (126 E. Public Sq., City Hall, 2nd Floor) Glasgow, Kentucky.”
