A Park City man is facing nine charges following a motorcycle pursuit that began in Cave City and ended with the driver allegedly fleeing on foot in Park City early Saturday morning.
According to a Kentucky State Police citation, Trooper Hayden Phillips was patrolling Cave City around 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, when he observed a motorcycle make a right turn from Ky. 90 onto U.S. 31-W.
Phillips reported that the motorcycle made the turn at a high rate of speed and in a careless manner. After attempting to catch up, the trooper said he observed the motorcycle traveling at speeds exceeding 100 mph on U.S. 31-W.
