A juvenile was arrested by the Glasgow Police Department on Tuesday after leading officers on a multi-county vehicle pursuit.
A preliminary investigation found that Glasgow police had been asked by Kentucky State Police to be on the lookout for a missing juvenile, according to a department press release.
“Officers located the vehicle that matched the description and attempted to make a traffic stop,” the release states, adding that the vehicle failed to stop, leading officers “on a vehicle pursuit that ended in Warren County.”
The juvenile was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle, three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment involving a police officer, first-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, disregarding a stop sign, disregarding a traffic control device, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol less than 21 years of age, according to the press release.
Glasgow police was assisted by the Barren County Sheriff’s Office and state police.
