The Glasgow Police Department arrested a couple on drug-related charges last weekend.
Officers responded to Adams Place Apartments on June 6 to assist with social services, according to a Glasgow Police press release.
“Officers located Methamphetamine inside a bedroom in plain view,” the release states.
Angela Cross, 52, and Jerry Allen McCoy, 41, both of Glasgow, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), first degree, first offense, according to the press release. They were lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
According to the jail’s website, Cross and McCoy were arrested last Friday. Cross is charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) for the third or more time. She remains in the Barren County Detention Center on a $1,500 cash bond as of Monday afternoon with a court date set for 12:30 p.m. on June 11.
McCoy was released from the jail last Saturday on a $1,500 unsecured bond. His next court appearance will be at 8:30 a.m. on June 29, according to the jail’s website.
