Carl Owens has been named the new principal of the Barren County Area Technology Center.
His experience includes four years working in industry, 21 years teaching computer-aided design at the technology center and three years in administration at Barren County Schools, according to an announcement from the school.
Owens most recently served as assistant principal at Barren County High School.
“His dedication to career and technical education and commitment to student success will continue to positively impact our students, staff, and school community as he leads,” the announcement states. “We are excited to welcome him back home to the ATC.”
