A mix of ceremonial recognitions and property-based decisions headline the agenda for the Park City Commission for Monday evening’s meeting at city hall.

The commission is set to convene at 5 p.m. inside the conference room at Park City City Hall, with routine opening items followed by a series of department and mayoral reports.

Among those, Mayor Donna Schavo is expected to provide updates on the upcoming convenience store groundbreaking, as well as plans for an alley dedication later this month, set to be named Chris Martin Way, and scheduling for senior center activities. Additional reports will come from city officials overseeing areas including the cemetery, park and pavilion spaces, fire department operations, maintenance, and planning and zoning.

Commissioners will also revisit the future of the city’s old city hall building, weighing whether to retain and rent the property or move forward with a sale.

Two proclamations are expected to be considered: one recognizing May as Older Americans Month, and another designating Nov. 3 as “Chris Martin Day,” further tying into the planned alley dedication.

The meeting will conclude with an opportunity for public comment before adjournment.
