2 injured in Glasgow crash involving juvenile driver

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash involving a juvenile driver at a Glasgow intersection.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Veterans Outer Loop and West Main Street on April 25, according to a Glasgow police press release. Preliminary investigation shows that a 2013 Chevy Camaro operated by a juvenile was traveling westbound on West Main Street, attempting to make a left turn onto Veterans Outer Loop, and collided with a 2013 Chevy Traverse driven by Erica Dewitt, who was traveling eastbound on West Main Street.

Dewitt and a passenger in the juvenile’s vehicle, identified as Mary Guerrero, were transported by Barren-Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for their injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Officer Zachary Cook investigated the crash.
