Caverna High School students will be participating in a reverse job fair from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. this Thursday, April 23, at the Cave Area Conference Center.
Area businesses are invited to view student presentations, connect with future talent and present available opportunities.
Caverna’s Christy Jennings said unlike usual job fairs, this event is all about the students.
“It is student-led,” she said. “Typically, people come in and businesses set up.
“We’re going to flip the tables — students are going to set up a table and represent themselves.”
Jennings said businesses can come in and visit the students’ booths, “and they can pick up a resume, business cards.”
“We have kids set up by their career clusters,” she said. “They’re going to explain to the businesses about themselves.”
Edmonson and Hart county students will also be participating in the event.
If any area businesses want to sign up, Jennings said to contact her at Caverna High School.
