Phyllis Lafferty Bartlett, age 89 of Munfordville, passed away at 1:05 am Monday, March 30that the Hospice House of Southern KY with her daughter and grandchildren by her side. She was the daughter of Lucian & Edna Crews Lafferty. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree. She mostly taught Physical Education in New Jersey, but also taught in the Hart County School System. Phyllis was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Lafferty.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Wilson (Tim), and a son, Greg Bartlett; three grandchildren, Brittany Gunter, Allie Wilson, and Clay Wilson; two step-grandchildren, Lindsey McGlaughlin & Megan Baker; one great-grandchild, Jackson Gunter.
Visitation for Phyllis Lafferty Bartlett will be on Thursday, April 2nd, from 10 am-2 pm at the Sego Funeral Home with a graveside service at 2:30 pm at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery, with Father Joel Rogers officiating the service.
The family asks that donations be given to Hospice of Southern KY, 5872 Scottsville Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42104.
