Jeffrey Sherman Frick, 82 of Edmonton, KY passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, March 17, 2026. He was born July 16, 1943, in Palo Alto, CA to the late Sherman and Jean Ellsworth Frick.
Jeff’s early years were marked by commitment to his country. Serving honorably in the US Navy from 1966 to 1970 during the Vietnam War, he carried the values of duty and courage throughout his life. Following his honorable military service, Jeff embarked on a distinguished career as an electrician. For eighteen years, he worked at Sumitomo, where he held a leadership role overseeing the maintenance department. His expertise and dedication contributed significantly to the success and safety of the operations under his care.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jeff was an active member of his community. He found joy in working with the Cub Scouts, shaping young minds and instilling values of responsibility and teamwork. His interest in solar panels demonstrated his forward-thinking nature and care for sustainable energy solutions.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 52 years Kathy Frick; his sister, Linda Dembnicki; and his brother-in-law, Jack Kall. He was also survived by and cherished by special friends Chris Lollar and Bruce Fanelli, who were important parts of his life.
In honor of Jeff’s wishes the family has chosen cremation.
