The Caverna Lady Colonels season ended Monday night with a 70-21 loss to Green County in the Girls 18th District Tournament.
Caverna struggled early to score and fell behind, 30-2, by the end of the first quarter. The Lady Dragons’ lead was 40-10 by halftime.
Alyssa Barbour led the Lady Colonels with 10 points.
Caverna opened the season 1-1, but struggled thereafter and finished at 1-24. Shay Martin and Dalliah Wood are the only two seniors on the roster.
In the late game Monday, LaRue County downed Hart County, 36-28. Green and LaRue meet Friday night at 6 in the championship game.
