The Barren County Administration and Budget Committee will meet Monday, Feb. 16, to discuss the proposed animal control ordinance.
The committee will meet at 4 p.m. in the Barren County Fiscal Courtroom in the Government Center Building at 117 North Public Square, 3rd Floor. Open to the public, the session will be chaired by Magistrate Marty Kinslow.
Additionally, the meeting will feature two guest speakers, who are expected to contribute to the ongoing conversation regarding the ordinance.
Barren County Judge-Executive Jamie Bewley Byrd has previously stated that the second reading of the ordinance is scheduled for Feb. 17 during the regular fiscal court meeting.
