Shirley Jean Pruitt, 93, Glasgow, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026, at her daughter’s residence in Georgia. A native of Monroe County, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Olean Crabtree Lawson and the widow of the late Kenneth Pruitt. She was a hairdresser for many years.
Survivors include two children: Nikki Quigley of Georgia, and Steve Pruitt and his wife Debbie of Glasgow; four grandchildren: Jayson Quigley (Cayci), Matt Quigley (Joyce), Kristin Murley (Chris), and Kennedy Pruitt (Michael Baltz); two great-grandchildren: Jade Quigley and Aspyn Baltz.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
