Glasgow man Cory Bowles has had his bond reduced to $250,000 after being reindicted on murder charges, according to his court records.

Bowles, originally arrested in May 2025 on charges of assault and wanton endangerment, faced an increased bond after a murder charge was filed in January 2026.

The case centers around a 2025 crash on Interstate 65 that resulted in the death of 9-year-old Kinsli Bowles and caused injuries to several individuals, including Cory Bowles, that required medical attention. The Kentucky Court of Justice records indicate that Bowles initially posted a $50,000 bond, but once recharged with murder, his bond was increased to $500,000.

At the recent bond hearing, Hart County Judge Charles Simms III decided to lower Bowles’ bond amount and ordered the return of the $50,000 to his mother, Vickie Bowles.

Cory Bowles’ arraignment is scheduled for February 17 at 9 a.m. in Hart County.

Key Facts:
– Bond reduced to $250,000 from $500,000
– Arraignment set for Feb. 17 at 9 a.m.
– Charges linked to a 2025 crash on I-65

What’s Next? Cory Bowles will appear in Hart County Court for his arraignment. Further developments will be monitored.
