L C Moss, 91 of Edmonton, KY, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Metcalfe Nursing & Rehab. He was born December 13, 1934, to the late William Henry and Della Gibson Moss. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Muriel Joette Moss, daughter Cathy Moss, sisters Thersea Reece, Virginia Hagan, Ruby Jessie and Yvonne Harper, two brothers Farrell Moss and Neal Moss.
L C served in the Army and was stationed in Hawaii. Those who knew him would often hear stories of his and Joette’s adventures together while in Hawaii, a place he really enjoyed. He was also a member of the Edmonton Masonic Lodge #931.
Beyond his professional and community commitments, L C was an avid lover of trap shooting and enjoyed fishing. These hobbies were not just pastimes but passions that allowed him to connect with nature and share moments with friends and family. Whether out in the field or by the water, L C found happiness in the simple joys of outdoor life.
He is survived by his sister Sylvia Acree of Edmonton, and special caregiver Becky (Michael) Harper of Edmonton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for L C Moss will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Sunday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
