Bonita Faith Harper, 60, formerly of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, February 5th, at Med Center Health in Bowling Green, KY.
Bonita was born in Tompkinsville, KY on April 5, 1965, a daughter of the late Luella (Rich) McMillan and Charlie McMillan.
She loved making crafts, baking, cross-stitching, and crossword puzzles. She was a member of Cedar Flat Church in Metcalfe County.
Bonita worked at Sumitomo and in fast food management.
Bonita is survived by a daughter, Amber, wife of Cole Poynter, of Glasgow, KY, and a son, Matthew Skaggs, companion of Becky of Edmonton, KY.
She is also survived by two grandchildren, Brooklyn Poynter and Bristol Skaggs.
Bonita is also survived by a sister, Wanda Jones, wife of Ricky, of Bowling Green, KY and a brother, Billy Joe McMillan, husband of Meloney, of Louisville, KY.
Along with her parents, Bonita was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Tim McMillan, and a sister, Marilyn McMillan
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 10th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY with Bro. Willie Westmoreland officiating.
Public Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 9th and 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 10th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.
Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Mount Hermon, KY.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the American Cancer Society.
