Barren County’s game against Ohio County on Friday capped a busy week of basketball for the Trojans. They pulled away in the third quarter to secure a 70-47 win and improve to 14-9 overall. The victory was Barren’s third in a row.
The game was tied 25-25 at halftime. The Trojans outscored the Eagles 31-12 in the third period to lead 56-37 after the third quarter.
Cameron Pippen led the charge with four made three pointers in the third. He finished the game with a team-high 25 points. Weston Shelton added 15 points, while Kade Hardy finished with 14.
Barren plays at Allen County-Scottsville on Saturday in a 15th District showdown. The Patriots are coming off a 90-75 win over Glasgow on Friday.
