Glasgow played close with Allen County-Scottsville through the first half Friday, but the game went sideways for the Lady Scotties in the third quarter. They were outscored 28-5 in that quarter and lost the 15th District contest, 75-40
The loss dropped Glasgow to 6-16 overall and 1-5 in 15th District action.
The Lady Scotties led 8-7 midway through the first quarter, but the Lady Patriots finished the period on a 7-2 win to lead 14-10 after one. Glasgow trailed 29-24 at halftime.
Kayla Kirkpatrick led the Lady Scotties with 16 points, and Jakylie Green added 12.
Glasgow returns to action Monday with a game at Green County at 5:30 p.m.
