Eva “Carol” Douglas, 85 of the Three Springs Community passed away Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was born on July 22nd, 1940, to the late Rev. Claud and Toria McCubbin. She was a Christian and a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Kenneth Douglas, and by her sister, Linda Streck.
She is survived by her two sons, Greg Douglas (Carla) of Rowletts and Chris Douglas of Three Springs; four grandchildren, Reagan Douglas-Woehler (Brian) of Hardyville, Ken Douglas of Rowletts, Alan Douglas of Streamwood, IL, and Andrew Douglas of Valparaiso, IN; two great-grandchildren, Jadon Douglas (Hannah) of Munfordville and Liza Gonzalez of Hardyville. Several step grandchildren also survive; one great-great grandchild Chasen Gonzalez; her brother David McCubbin (Judy) of Shady Grove; as well as an abundance of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Carol Douglas will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Cosby Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday until time of the service here at the funeral home.
