J.C. Walbert and the Transylvania men’s basketball team return to action tonight against Berea College in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference game.
The sophomore guard and former Glasgow Scottie is averaging 2.6 points per game this season. He posted a season-high seven points in two games — against Berry and John Carroll. He also had a season-high 10 rebounds against John Carroll.
Walbert posted a season-high four assists against Earlham, and a season-high two blocks two weeks ago against Manchester.
Transylvania is 10-8 overall and 7-3 in conference action with three weeks left in the season.
