Those looking for employment in Glasgow have a chance to apply to Tate.

The company recently listed Glasgow-specific job opportunities on its website. Nineteen full-time positions are listed, including an environmental health and safety manager, a planning and scheduling manager, an inventory control specialist, a reliability engineer, laser operator, and a powder coating technician.

Maryland-based company Tate — which has an Irish parent company — has planned to create 400 jobs in Glasgow, and invest $61.2 million, according to the governor’s office Oct. 15, 2025 announcement. The “largest investment for Barren County in 18 years” elicited a specific remark from Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear during his State of the Commonwealth Address earlier this month.

In November 2025, Tate purchased the 211-acres former R.R. Donnelley and Sons building.

Once fully operational, Tate will produce “high performing thermal management and airflow solutions engineered to optimize efficiency and reliability in the most demanding of data centers,” the October press release stated.
