Ida Demple (Bow) Hale, 84, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
She was born on December 27, 1941, in Monroe County, KY, a daughter of the late Richard and Pearl (Copas) Bow.
She worked at Key Work Clothes for many years. Demple was saved and joined Poplar Log Missionary Baptist Church.
In August of 1957, she married Archie Hale, who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Loretta Wheat, and husband Mark, of Tompkinsville, KY; son, Stevie Hale, and wife, Amy, of Tompkinsville, KY; son-in-law, Stephen Melton, of Moss, TN; six grandchildren, Cristy Arnet, John Page, Jordan Hale, Jacob Hale, Tyler McMillian, and Jessalyn Hale and nine great grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Leon Bow and wife, Peggy, and Randy Bow and wife, Sharon, both of Tompkinsville, KY.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Greta Melton, sisters, Geneva Botts and Bonnie Jones and a brother, Eugene Bow.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 12:30 p.m., with burial to follow at Harlans Crossroad Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday, 4 to 8 p.m., and Thursday, 8 a.m. until service time at 12:30 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Demple’s memory are requested to Harlans Crossroad Cemetery or to Poplar Log Baptist Church.
