People will again be able to get care from Graves Gilbert Clinic utilizing their Humana plans due to a two-year agreement.
Graves Gilbert Clinic has several locations in Barren County, including on North Race Street, S.L. Rogers Wells Boulevard and Physicians Boulevard. Chief Executive Officer of Graves Gilbert Clinic Mike D’Eramo previously told Glasgow News 1 that Glasgow has a “measurable portion” of the healthcare provider’s customers, and called it “a major primary care source.”
The agreement is effective on March 1, according to a clinic press release. Due to the agreement, Humana members will experience no disruptions in scheduled care, according to the release. Under the terms of the agreement, patients will retain in-network coverage for appointments, procedures, and ongoing care at GGC locations without the need to change providers or seek new referrals.
“This new agreement reinforces our commitment to patients across the state and secures our relationship with Humana as a real partner,” D’Eramo said. “By working collaboratively with Humana, we are supporting better care coordination, improved cost transparency, and high-quality outcomes. Our entire team looks forward to continuing to serve Humana members with the same standards of clinical excellence and compassionate care they expect from [Graves Gilbert Clinic.]”
The agreement also resolves prior contentions, according to the press release. D’Eramo previously told Glasgow News 1 on Oct. 20, 2025 that some of his concerns with Humana stemmed from its seeming lack of attention to the Southcentral Kentucky region. This agreement comes several months after Graves Gilbert Clinic announced it would end participation with Humana Medicaid and Medicare Advantage plans effective Feb. 1, 2026.
