Glasgow punched its ticket to the 2A State Tournament with a 74-66 win at home over Logan County on Saturday night.
Jaylen Bradley was hot throughout the game and led the Scotties with 25 points. Glasgow jumped ahead 16-11 in the first quarter. It pushed its lead to 30-22 by halftime.
The scoring pace of the game picked up in the second half. The Scotties posted a 19-18 edge in the third quarter, and the Cougars had a 26-25 edge in the final period.
After Bradley, Jerrick Martin and Jackson Norris each scored 11 points.
The win means Glasgow will face the winner of Section 8 in Owensboro on Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. The state tournament will be played at the Owensboro Sportscenter. The Section 8 tournament begins tonight at Lawrence County. It features Lawrence (7-5), Magoffin County (2-9), Floyd Central (10-2) and Pike County Central (7-4).
