The Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library is calling all creative teenagers to submit original work for the library’s monthly Teen Zine publication. This magazine is a way to share unique voices and creativity with the community.
From Jan. 1-14, local teens can submit original artwork, photos, short articles, playlists, song, movie or book recommendations to be considered for February’s Teen Zine.
The theme is “anti-Valentine’s Day,” and work can be submitted via a Google Form on the library’s website. As a general guideline, please do not submit anything with content or themes not found in a Young Adult book.
The library allows publication of work using a pseudonym, but a real name and library card number are required with submissions. Please do not use any AI-generated content.
The February edition of the Teen Zine will be available beginning Feb. 1 in the Young Adult section.
See the library for more details and information.
