Brenda Sue Stout, 79, of Smiths Grove, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025 in the ER at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Morris Matthews and Cloteel Elizabeth Shipley Matthews. She was a retired hair dresser.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Brandy Cowles (John Moore) and Cheyenne Rogers (John Rogers); three great grandchildren, Joanna Graves, Stephen Sprowls and Lee Luke Rogers.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Marty Lee Stout; one daughter, Lisa Jo Mutter; two brothers and two sisters.
The family has chosen cremation with no services planned at this time. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
