Preschool students and their families explored a winter wonderland last Thursday in the Trojan Way Center.
The gym was transformed into a Christmas landscape, full of lights and decorations — as well as Santa and Mrs. Claus.
“Today is all about celebrating children,” said Glenna Gardner, nutrition wellness and compliance liaison for the school district. “Just trying to make their days a little brighter this holiday season.”
Before entering the winter wonderland, the children received a magic wand to open the door.
Gardner said this event celebrates “the joy that Christmas brings to children,” and she really enjoys “seeing their expressions” and “hearing their parents celebrate Christmas with them.”
