Community members have until this Tuesday to get their Christmas trees dipped for free.
The Glasgow Fire Department has been offering a free tree-dipping service, where they will dip live Christmas trees in a liquid mixture that helps reduce the risk of fire.
Dipping a tree helps reduce the risk of it drying out and potentially becoming a fire hazard.
This free fire-prevention dipping is available at the Glasgow Fire Department’s Cross Street station from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through December 23.
