Commuters in to and out of Glasgow may need to plan an alternate route as a portion of South Green Street will be closed for most of Dec. 3.
The portion of South Green Street that will be closed is between West Brown and West College streets, according to the City of Glasgow Municipal Government. During the closure, both lanes will be closed and traffic will be detoured at Bunche Avenue, according to the city.
It will be closed from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. The closure is necessary for steeple repairs on the Glasgow Baptist Church, across from Save A Lot.
Work may continue on Dec. 4 if needed, the city stated.
