The Barren County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an two-vehicle injury collision that occurred on Dec. 2.
The collision happened at the intersection of Franks Mill Road and the Veterans Outer Loop, according to information provided by Barren County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Adam Bow.
“Upon arrival an investigation revealed a 2009 Chevrolet HHR operated by Jeremy Fields of Glasgow was traveling on Franks Mill Road and stopped at the stop sign [before attempting] to cross Veterans Outer Loop and continue on Franks Mill Road,” a Barren County Sheriff’s Office press release stated. “He traveled into the path of a 2016 Nissan Murano operated by Jeremy Brown, also of Glasgow.”
The investigation is ongoing at the time of publication, the release stated.
The Barren County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by Glasgow Police Department, Glasgow Fire Department, Hiseville Fire Department, East Barren Fire Department, and Barren-Metcalfe EMS.
