Barren County may soon be broadcast to people across the United States due to a studio production contract on the Dec. 2 Barren County Fiscal Court agenda.
The meeting will take place at 9 a.m. in the fiscal court room. Aside from authorizing a lease agreement with American Towers for the county’s emergency communications system, the county magistrates are set to ratify the authorization for studio production on Viewpoint’s Dennis Quaid Show.
With Barren County listed as the participant company, this “short-form documentary series will be distributed to public television stations in all 50 states,” the contract stated.
Viewpoint will also provide a “5-6 minute educational documentary profile,” a one-minute educational commercial that “will be broadcast in over 84 million homes via MSNBC, CNBC, Fox Business, or an equivalent network,” and converted digital files for streaming, according to the contract.
The production period is forecasted to be between 90 and 120 day, according to the contract.
