One person was taken to T.J. Samson Community Hospital following a two-vehicle collision on Columbia Avenue on Nov. 25.

Ada Bowles, who was driving a 2023 Nissan Rogue, was exiting the Hardees Parking lot and “pulled into the path of a 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis being [driven] by Betty Franklin who was traveling southbound on Columbia Avenue,” a Glasgow police press release stated. Franklin was transported to the hospital for her injuries.

The crash was investigated by Officer Mathew Rishkofski, assisted by the Barren-Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department.
