A new coffee shop may soon open a Glasgow location.
Brew Team KY filed a zone change application with the Joint City-County Planning Commission on Nov. 12 requesting that 1.58 acres of property at 1006 W. Main St. go from a light industrial to a Highway Service Business District and subdividing the property into two lots, according to the submitted application.
“The eastern tract will be developed with a 510 [square foot] prefabricated 7 Brew drive thru coffee shop,” the application stated.
The West Main Street property is located at the intersection of North L. Rogers Wells Boulevard, opposite the White Castle. The current property is 4.39 acres, according to the property valuation administration website.
Planning Director Kevin Myatt said the zone change will be considered at the commission’s December meeting.
7 Brew was started in 2017 and has 551 locations, according to the company website. The first location was in Rogers, Arkansas with the “7 original coffees,” the website stated.
