Andrew Olin, 39, of Glasgow is behind bars after allegedly fleeing police on a motorcycle in Horse Cave.
According to a uniform citation, the Kentucky State Police observed a motorcycle traveling northbound Wednesday on S. Dixie Street in Horse Cave at 94 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone.
Authorities say the trooper activated the cruiser’s emergency lights and sirens and attempted to catch up to the motorcycle.
Then troopers say the motorcycle improperly passed multiple vehicles while going a high rate of speed.
The citation states the motorcycle then slowed down and turned right onto Tommy Toms Road and continued traveling before it pulled over.
Troopers say they detained Olin.
Authorities say Olin stated he knew he had been fleeing or evading the trooper when speaking with law enforcement.
Olin was arrested and transported to the Hart County Jail
