T.J. Regional Health is having a groundbreaking ceremony for its first Warren County location on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 11 a.m.
The groundbreaking will take place at 592 S. Main St. in Smiths Grove. The one-story, 16,000 square-foot clinic will feature numerous services such as primary care needs, lab services, X-rays, ultrasounds, Naturopath, various medical specialties and a first for T.J. Regional Health: a drive through where people can get basic medical care without having to leave their vehicles.
“Just imagine you have two little kids in car seats [that] need ears checked…they can stay in the car and get that basic medical care done,” Executive Vice President of Marketing, Planning and Development Stacey Biggs said in an Oct. 24 Glasgow News 1 interview. “That’s the part I’m probably most excited about because, as far as I know, there’s nothing like this in the area.”
Alliance Corporation will manage construction, Biggs said.
