Second readings monopolize the 6 p.m. Glasgow Common Council meeting.
Second readings include ordinances amending the current budget for the Glasgow fire and police departments, amending the city’s zoning regulations, rezoning several pieces of property along West Main Street and Rogers Road, and rezoning the old Happy Valley School property, which the Glasgow Independent Schools Board of Education sold to K and M Services in May 2025, to a highway service business district.
There is also an introduction of new Glasgow Police Department personnel scheduled, according to the agenda.
No new business is set to be addressed during the Nov. 10 meeting.
