Three local golfers were named to the Boys’ All-Region 3 Team following successful seasons. Seniors Tate Pace from Glasgow and Cameron Pippen from Barren County, and Glasgow freshman Griffin Jackson were recognized for their performances during the 2025 high school golf season.

Barton Rutledge of Allen County-Scottsville was named regional player of the year. Jackson was named to the regional first team, along with Layton Richey and Eli Wade of Greenwood, and Rowdy Harris of Bowling Green.

Pace and Pippen were both named to the regional second team, along with Johnny Brown of Bowling Green, Carson Smith of South Warren and Davis Switzer of Logan County.

Both Jackson and Pace played in the first round of the state tournament at Calvert City Country Club. Both fell short of the state finals in Bowling Green last week.

Jackson was runner-up in the Boys Region 3 Golf Tournament at Crosswinds on Sept. 22. He fell to Harris in a playoff after both finished regulation at 3-under par 69. Pace shot 76 and tied for eighth in the regional tournament. Pippen fired 86 in the regional tournament.

Six of the golfers on the all-region teams were underclassmen.
