Abbie Lee shoots career-low in Knoxville

Abbie Lee wrapped her fall golf season at Middle Tennessee with a college career-low round of 4-under par 67. The former Glasgow golfer was competing in only her second tournament of the season, but made it count by also making her first collegiate hole-in-one on No. 12 in the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate in Knoxville, Tenn.

Lee’s ace was the only one of the tournament, according to a report from Middle Tennessee University, and it was her second eagle of the tournament. She climbed 29 places on the leaderboard and finished 31st overall.

Western Kentucky University’s women’s golf team also competed in the tournament finished third. Lady Topper Sydney Hackett finished tied for first with a three-round total of 11-under 202, which was her career low.
