Glasgow’s girls’ soccer turn around is nearly complete. The Lady Scotties captured the top seed in the 15th District Tournament that begins Saturday at Warren East High School. They finished the regular season 12-4-1, which was six games better than their number of wins in 2024.
Glasgow, Barren County and Warren East each finished with 4-2 records in district action. The RPI was used to break the three-way tie. Glasgow finished the regular season with an RPI of .55140, while Warren East was .49921 and Barren County was .49841. The Trojanettes posted an overall record of 7-9-1 and the Lady Raiders were 8-9-0.
Glasgow beat Warren East 2-1, then lost 4-1 in a pair of regular season meetings. Glasgow beat Barren County 4-1 and lost 2-0 in those team’s two meetings. The Trojanettes beat the Lady Raiders 3-1, then lost 1-0.
